DS.Xray 2808tb is a 2.8 kW high-frequency monoblock X-ray generator from the DS.Xray family — 11 portable units from 2.8 to 10 kW designed and serially produced by DS.Med. The 2.8 kW power class confidently handles bedside imaging of non-critical patients, extremities and chest radiography. Exposure parameters are set directly on the control panel.
The built-in battery pack delivers up to 28 hours of autonomous operation or about 110 exposures per charge — enough for a full shift of field diagnostics, home visits or ward rounds without a single wall socket.
The 600 kHz high-frequency inverter keeps anode voltage ripple to a minimum, and microprocessor correction every 1.7 µs guarantees reproducible parameters from shot to shot. The dual focal spot lets the physician choose between maximum detail (0.6 mm) and full power on dense structures. The digital workflow is built on compatibility with wired and wireless flat-panel detectors (DR1717C, DR1717CH, DR1417CH) and direct PACS/HIS integration via SDK — and DS.Med backs every unit with its own service engineers, spare parts in stock and on-site staff training.
